2004 grey gelding, 15.1 hands

Abe is an eye catching grey gelding by Crockers Ajax, a cow bred stallion who is line bred Wimpy.  His dam has produced two other good using horses for both roping, reining and barrel racing and goes back to Unikia.  Abe stands 15.1 hands, strong and quiet.  He was started by Shane and had a couple calving seasons put on him as well as numerous hours doing ranch work.  He started roping slowly and in the spring of 2009 spent 3 months with trainer David Schmidt.  David then took him to the Working Cow Horse Team Roping Futurity and Derby where he placed 10th out of 21 entries of strong competition.  He was a very easy start and has continued to impress us with his quiet disposition.  He has excellent bone structure, short canon bones, low set hocks and good muscling.  Strong black hooves, a kind eye and a touch of chrome.  Click on tabs above to watch 2 heeling runs - or go to our video collection on youtube:  http://www.youtube.com/pommede34?feature=mhum
